this damn song (19/07/2026)

im sorry im procrastinating on the site its just that the productivity burst ran out so quickly lolol its somewhat good though i believe its really coming out real pretty

today i randomly remembered about this song i used to listen on my beat up mp3 player when I was a kid, downloaded it to my new mp3 player and man it is stirring something in me, it might be a stretch to say this but its almost like ive suddenly realized that I've grown?

the song in question is Torna a casa by Måneskin (i knew måneskin before their international peak 💯)(they were fairly popular in Italy back then anyways) and it was released in 2018, when I was eleven. how have these years gone by so quickly? I remember listening to this song on the couch in the living room before my family got rid of the old couch, how this song inspired me to learn the guitar in the first place, when me and my friends would go buy soda with our pocket money and she would more than often post what we got on her Instagram story with this song in the background (she wasnt legally allowed to have that account lol)

overall this is probably one of the many epiphanies I'll have as I grow up, I can't believe I'm an actual legal adult and I have a driver's license and that I can legally buy alcohol or tobacco (I don't drink or smoke but alcohol at least tastes good) and ackkkkk hell I still remembered the lyrics before listening to it im just rambling at this point i canttttt

i hope new emerging artists dont give up making music because they could be someone's anchor to the past
